Mud Island River Park

For park day we went to Mud Island River Park. Here is the group that went. Christine, Valorie, Catherine, Lindsey, Jamie, Susan and me.

The River Walk is one of the most unique representations of the Mississippi River in the world. It is a 5-block long replica of the lower Mississippi river, from Cairo, IL, to New Orleans, LA. Each 30" stride is equivalent to one mile on the actual river. The "1,000" mile journey concludes at the Gulf of Mexico, a one acre enclosure that holds 1.3 million gallons of water.

Jenna Grace, Savannah and Saige in front of the sign.
I live in Tennessee. CRAZY!
This is what the river looks like.
Savannah eating a snack. That is all that kid ever wants to do.
Saige playing in the water

Saige, Savanah George and Christine.

Saige fell while we were there and got a huge fat lip on bottom.

Here is the real Mississippi River.
Morgan playing in the water where the river ends.
They were so tired and passed out on the way home. Good times!
