Halloween Fun!

Halloween this year was full of activities and parties. We decided to all dress up this year as characters from Alice in Wonderland. Jarom was the Mad Hatter, I was the Queen of Hearts, Saige was Alice and Savannah was The Cheshire Cat.

On Wednesday we went to Our ward's Trunk or Treat and Carnival.
Here are the girls playing games.

Nashville

For school Jarom had to attend TANA(Tennessee Association of Nurse Anesthetists) in Nashville and I went with him. We had April (thanks again) watch the girls for us. This was our first trip away from the girls in 3 1/2 years. We needed it!
Jarom only went to a couple of classes, then we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory with Lance(a guy in his class) and his family. After that we went to the Opry Land Mall and did a little shopping.
For dinner we went to THE WILDHORSE SALOON. They have live music, dinning, country line dancing and pool. We had a blast! It has been a long time since we have gone out dancing. We are making it a point to go out more after this.

The next day Jarom went to a couple more classes then we drove around Franklin and came home. Franklin was beautiful I would love to live there.

Pirddy Farms!

This year we went to Pirddy Farms Pumpkin Patch. We went on a hay ride, made scarecrows, and picked pumpkins.
Here are the girls and Jarom on the hay ride.

Our Visitors!

We have a big field in front of our condo and some deer live in the trees. We have seen as many as 6 out at one time. The girls love them. Here is a picture and a video of them from today.

Naps!

My girls will no longer take naps for me. I try to put on a movie for quiet time and hope they fall asleep. That works about 25% of the time. I have found that if I need to run errands they will gladly fall asleep in the car. I hate to wake them up and be cranky, so I drive home and put them to bed. This means the errands are not done. I have to run my errands early to prevent this from happening.
Now if I want them to take a nap we go for a car ride. It works 100% of the time! I even bought them car pillows from Target for $2.50 to make them more comfortable.

SAIGE THE DANCER and GYMNAST

Saige is taking tap and ballet this year. The class is an hour long with 30 min of ballet and 30 min of tap. She looks so cute! Here are a few pictures from her first day.

Tap

She won a free month of gymnastics at gym stars and she is loving it. She said she likes it better than dance, so maybe next semester we will sign her up for gymnastics. Here are pictures from her first day.

Here are some video clips of her at the gym.

Savannah's Potty Training Party!

It is official we are a diaper free home! Back in June I did a potty training party with Savannah.
We started off the morning with a new baby doll that can go potty. We trained her first than decided to try it.
Here is the treat tray she got to pick from when her or the baby went potty in the toilet.

When Savannah went she got to open a present too.
We played water balloons, did hair, make up, painted nails, played play dough, painted, colored, played toys and so much more through out the day.
Here she is getting a treat for using the potty.
and opening a gift.

Really she has been using the potty since January but was not consistent. Now she is completely potty trained even through the night. Good bye diapers!
