Saige's Surgery

On Tuesday morning Saige had surgery to remove a cyst from the lower right side of her jaw. She was so brave and did awesome! He ended up having to remove 3 teeth along with it, but only 1 was permanent. The orthodontist should be able to fix that issue later. Unfortunately the cyst ate away at her bone and left it paper thin. He put an instrument under it and he said you could see through the bone. This means her jaw is super weak and can fracture very easily. She has to be on a liquid diet for 3 months and no sports or activities where she can get hit in the mouth for 6 months. She is doing well and will hopefully be back to school on Friday.

she was able to play video games with dad that afternoon.
the cyst. It was an inch long.

the 3 teeth she had removed with it.
This is Saige the day after. A little swollen, but doing well.
This was what she looked like Thursday morning.

Birthday cards and money from the Olsen side help make it better.
