Lucas 7 Months

Lucas has 2 teeth on bottom and I finally got a picture of them. He is starting to cry when I leave the room. He wants to see me or have me on the floor with him to play. He arches his back to get away or out of a sitting position. His personality is defiantly changing this month. He is becoming a little stinker and figuring out how to get what he wants. He is friendly and will let anyone hold him. He babels mama, dada and baba. He says mama the most:)He still doesn't like baby food that much. He gags on green beans(it is pretty funny). He does LOVE watermelon and sweet potato's.

Osage Beach

On Saturday we went to The Lake of the Ozarks with the Truman family (Scott is another CRNA that moved into our ward). First we test drove 2 Malibu boats on the lake, a 24.7 footer and the 21 footer and we decided the smaller one is the way to go(in 3 years when we buy a boat). Then we went to Dog Days for some lunch, a restaurant on the lake and enjoyed watching all the different boats drive by. After that we went to the outlets at Osage Beach. I got Lucas clothes for this Winter and a couple of long sleeve shirts for Saige. Then we went to Miner Mike's indoor family fun center. We all had a great time and played hard.

Saige's First Day of 1ST Grade!

Saige's First day of 1st grade. She is excited and happy to have friends in her class that she knows from Church and last year. She has Mrs. Ross a teacher she got to know in Summer school. It was nice when she walked into class on meet the teacher day and Mrs. Ross already knew who she was.

Six Flags!

Yes we went to Six Flags again. We bought season passes and it is less than 2 hours away, so it is easy to go in one day. We spent the first half of the day at the water park, then went to the coaster park. Saige had a friend spend the night and came with us. The girls had a blast with Kennedy.

Anniversary! 9 YEARS

8/8/02 I married my best friend. We have gone through nursing school, bought a house in Anthem, Arizona, sold a house, moved to Memphis, Tennessee, gone through CRNA school, Got a CRNA job, moved to Columbia, Missouri, welcomed 3 kids into our family, and a few things in between. I could not imagine any one else, but Edmund Jarom by my side going through and sharing these experiences with. I look forward for what ever comes next because I have my true companion with me.

Every year we have gone to Ruth's Chris Steak House for our anniversary dinner. Unfortunately Columbia does not have a Ruth's Chris, so we settled for Mackenzie's Prime. No it was not as good as Ruth's, so we may have to make the 1 1/2 hour drive to Saint Louis's Ruth Chris next year.

Northern California with the Fairbanks!

This Summer we decided to visit Fred and Terri in California. They are our close friends we have known since our single days way back in 2000. We haven't seen them since we moved to Tennessee 3 years ago, but you would never know it. Once we got there it was like old times. I Love how some friendships never change no matter how long it has been since you saw each other. We already miss them a ton and wish we lived closer.
Our week was packed with fun outings. We went to the zoo, Six Flags, The Jelly Belly Factory, Big Trees National Park, Shopping at the flea market, The boys went golfing, and of course wake boarding at the lake. We also stayed up late playing Settlers and talking.

Lucas 6 Months!

Lucas weighs 17 pounds 13 oz 55% for weight and is 28 1/2 inches tall 90%. They may have measured his length wrong because he was only 50% for length in the past.
This month he got his first tooth on the bottom. Learned to sit by himself. He rolls all over the living room floor. He usually sleeps on his stomach. Wears size 3 diapers and is in 6-9 month clothes. He has 2 ca licks in the back of his head so his hair sticks straight up in the back. He sleeps from 7 PM- 7 AM nurses then goes back to sleep until 9 AM. He is still happy all the time. He Loves to swim and being on the boat.

Fourth Of July Weekend!

Fourth of July weekend we went to Six Flags. We spent the first day at Hurricane Harbour. The second day at Six Flags. Then drove back to Columbia on the 4Th to watch fire works. We stopped off at the mall and Red Robin on the way home.
