Easter Sunday before church

 he left a trail of candy filled eggs from the kids rooms to the baskets. Lucas picked them all up with his dump truck

No More mimi!

Lucas is 2 years old now, so we decided it was time to get rid of his mimi (pacifier). I took the girls to build a bear so I wanted to do the same for Lucas. He had no idea what he was about to do. He picked out the bear he wanted and gave it some traits. Then it was time to stuff him and stick his mimi inside. He did it with no fuss. Then he dried it and brushed it. After that he picked out some cool spider man pj's for him to wear. Then we named him Lucky. He was in love and started playing with him in the store.                                                                
After we left was a different story. On the way home he started crying for his mimi. When I told him he could no longer have it because it was in Lucky's belly he got even more upset. When I opened his dresser drawer to get his pajamas his vampire pacifier was sitting in it. Right away he grabbed it and was so happy. I quickly took it from him and threw it in a kitchen cabinet. Oops we just made a huge mistake. Now Lucas is freaking out screaming for his mimi. I told Jarom to hurry and cut the nipple off. I then let him have it and told him that a spider ate the top off. He was still upset, but after a few minutes of playing with it, he laughed and talked about the spider eating it and wanted it back in the drawer. When I put him to bed he didn't want to have anything to do with Lucky. He wanted it downstairs in Saige's room. It took a little while, but he finally went to bed without it. It took about 4 days for him to stop asking for his mimi and he likes Lucky again.

Spring Break 2013

This year Jarom worked during Spring break, so I took the kids on a couple of day trips. First we went to Jeff City and played at the mall. Another day we went to Saint Louis and went to the Magic House. I think we all had a great time.

It's a ...

It's a boy! Levi Olsen Wingert
I am not going to lie I was really hoping for a boy and am so excited. Jarom had to work so I took the girls with me to the ultrasound. Saige was excited and said she knew it Savannah was a little sad, she really wanted a girl. Lucas thinks he has a baby in his belly too and it is a girl baby. He doesn't seem to know or care that he is getting a little brother. He just knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy.
