Pictures of the girls

It has been a while since I have taken the girls to get pictures taken. Since Saige just turned 3 and Savannah was 15 months I decided it was time. I scanned them in so they are not very clear sorry.

Homemade bread

Well the time has come for me to make honey whole wheat bread. I have to thank Corin Wayne from the Anthem ward for showing me how. I got my Bosh for Christmas and have used it to make bread only 3 times. I love the way it smells up the house and it tastes so good right out of the oven.
Let this be a lesson to you. Put the guard on while adding ingredients to the bosh. flour went every where. Yes I am in my workout clothes because Savannah was asleep when I got home from the gym, so I had to act fast.
kneading the dough

getting ready to divide it into loaves
Time to let then rise for 30 minutes.
The finished product minus a loaf. Jarom couldn't wait even five minutes. Yummy!

Fun in the Sun-Foil Fleet

This Friday the activity at the park was Foil Fleet. Each kid got to make their own sail boat and set it sail.Saige coloring the sail

The finished boat Getting ready to set sail.Watching her boat in the water and Morgan getting ready to launch her boat. After we watched the boat sail for a while we sat down for some lunch and listened to Brian Breeze Cayolle, jazz duo sing. Annie, Valorie, Claire, Morgan, and Christine eating lunch.

Then they played at the play ground.
Climbing on the mountain.

Saige going down the slide
Savannah running down the slide. I had to catch her every time because she likes to run down instead of slide on her bum. Crazy adventurous girl!
Saige waiting to catch me at the bottom of the slide.

Swinging together
What a fun day. They both passed out in the car on the way home.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful mother's day. Jarom cleaned the house for me on Saturday while I went shopping alone. He got me a gift certificate for a facial at the Germantown Day Spa. After church he let me take a nap then we went to the park to fly a kite. When we got home he made dinner for me. What a loving husband I have.

I love being a mother. My girls have taught me so much. It is a ton of work, but very rewarding and well worth it. I love my girls.

The braces are off

I got my braces off on Monday!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom. You are the best! I miss you so much and wish that I could be there celebrating this day with you. You have done so much for me and my family and we really appreciate all that you do. You did a wonderful job raising 6 kids. Now that I am a mom I understand how much work you did for us. Thank You.

Thank You for sharing your talents with me and making Saige a beautiful blessing dress.
You made Saige the perfect quilt because she had to have a soft and silky blanket. She really loves you too.
Thanks again for all that you do for our family. I love you.

Fun in the Sun Friday

Every Friday at the Municipal Park they do an activity for the kids with a concert afterwards. This week it was tie-dyeing a T-shirt.
Saige pretending to put rubber bands on her shirt. It was too hard for her, so I did it.

Putting the shirt in the purple dye. Her favorite color.
Saige taking the rubber bands off the shirt.
hanging it out to dry
Then we played at the park.
Saige climbing on the play ground
and ate lunch with Annie, Claire and Morgan...

while listening to Delta Cats, Blues Duo.

The climber

I think Savannah is trying to prove that she is not a baby anymore. She is turning into quite the climber. She is even starting to talk more. A few of her new words are...happy,baby, hi,owie,oh,sissy, doggy,Abbey, and pee pee(learned that one from sister).
Here is Savannah climbing on the toilet.
Here is a video of her climbing.

Here she is after she climbed up the chair. She usually continues to the table and I find her walking around on it.

Work Out week 3

Week 2-Another successful week. I was able to attend all of my classes except Yoga on Friday(it was canceled) so I did cardio and weights instead. I discovered I am in the middle of 2 YMCA'S, which opens up a whole new class Schedule for me. I am already getting some flexibility back. The first week I couldn't put my hands flat on the floor when bent over forward and this week I can. I even get compliments from the instructors on my Yoga poses.

Week 3-

Mon, 30 min. Cardio, weights and Pilates

Tue, Jazzercise and Yoga

Wed, Muscleworks class and Pilates

Thurs, Pilates and Zumba

Fri, weights, 30 min of cardio, and Yoga

I stuck to my goal and Only ate when I was hungry last week.

My goal for this week is to drink water through out the day Not just in the morning when I exercise.

Story Time at the Library

On Friday we went to The Germantown Library for tree house story time with Morgan. It was really cute they used puppets with the stories and told jokes.
Saige and Morgan flying during the airplane song.
The girls playing in the Firetruck.

Baby Lotion!

While I was on the computer. Jarom decided to go take a nap without telling me. I noticed the girls were being way to quite, so I decided to check on them. Saige thought it would be a good idea to play with the lotion. We found it all over the floor, on Savannah's head, the entertainment center...
On the couch
She used the lotion like glue to stick her Dora magnets to her booster seat.
The lotion made a nice conditioner for her hair.
