Crazy ride (lyrics).wmv

When our girls were babies we would dance with them to one song before bed at night. This is the song we are going to dance to with Lucas. I Love it and think it is the perfect bedtime song.

Avondale House

This is the house we are renting for the next year and a half. My favorite part is the backyard and the basement. The girls have enjoyed playing outside and we keep all the toys down stairs, so the upstairs stays clean.

The front Looks a little different without all the snow.

The girls bedroom. No toys only books and they get to sleep with a stuffed animal.

Luke's room. I haven't decorated it yet since he still sleeps in my room.

So far we Love the house and all the extra space. We also like the neighborhood and location.

Snow Play

We found some snow bibs and jackets for the girls, so they could play in the snow. They were out there for hours having a great time. Our backyard is on a slant, so they had fun sledding.

LUCAS ONE MONTH

Lucas is 1 month. He was great while we were moving and stuck in a hotel for 5 days. Then we moved into our house and now he wants to be held all the time. I Love to hold him, but I don't get anything accomplished. It is a good thing Edmund isn't working yet. He finally lost his cord at 4 weeks so we gave him his first bath. He Loves to sleep with his arms out. We got him a swing and he sleeps well in it. He is growing like a weed and weighs 10 pounds. At 5 weeks he started wearing size 1 diapers. He wears 0-3 month tops and newborn pants.

This is what he wore to church on Sunday. He looked like a sock monkey.
I found some newborn jeans and Love them on him.

He likes to lay in the sink while I get ready in the morning.

Moving out and moving in!

Let me start off by saying we could not have moved without the help from my mom.
We had mover pack and load our stuff for us since the University was paying for the move and let me tell you that is the way to go. We just sat around while they did all the work.
The girls watched movies to stay out of the way.

We chilled on the couch until they took it away.

When we planed our move we had no idea there would be a snow storm. In fact it was the 2ND worst snow storm Columbia has ever had. They got 17.9 inches of snow on Tuesday the day we drove up. They closed the freeway (the 70) to Columbia, so we had to stay in a hotel about an hour and a half outside Columbia. On Wednesday we made it to Columbia, but they didn't plow our subdivision, so the moving van couldn't get to our house. We ended up staying in a hotel until Saturday.

moving in

It only took us a week to get settled and hang pictures on the walls. I will post the inside soon and the outside now that the snow is almost gone.
