Tuesday!

Tuesday was a great day! We went to Callie's house in the morning for a princess tea party and Chick Fil A for dinner with Jarom.
The girls at the table. Saige started off as Cinderella then changed into a ballerina.
Yummy food!

Savannah and Emma driving the car.
They ended up using the tea set outside with water and dirt. Messy!

Every Tuesday night Chick Fil A has free kids meals and crafts. We go at least twice a month. The girls love the food and love to play. Today Saige made a finger friend.

The best part is the free ice cream cone. What a good big sister to share her ice cream.

School!

Saige's 1st school picture! Saige loves preschool and talks about it all the time. Everyday she asks when is it time for school.
Well it is official Jarom is on his way to becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. He has been in school since July 18, 2008. He has had 5 tests(all A's or B's) with another one tomorrow and 2 presentations so far. He has classes 5 days a week plus 2 online classes on his day off(so he really doesn't have a day off). What this means is I never see him. He leaves before we wake up(Today it was 4:30am(Test tomorrow)) and he comes home between 7-9pm at night 6 days a week. He says he likes it and it is going good so far, but he does a lot of reading, so it gets boring. He is a dedicated hard working student and I am proud of him.

It has taken me a while to post this because I had a hard time at first. I really didn't know how good I had it until he started school. Jarom worked 3 12 hour shifts a week and was home for 4 days. He helped me a ton with the girls and house work(Yes he is amazing). Then school started and I only see him on Sundays. I am used to him being gone now (but I still miss him) and have gotten into a routine with the girls, so single parenthood isn't too bad. He helps out when he can and I still get to go out at night to Enrichment and Girls Night Out! I also get help from my sweet visiting teachers who offer to take the girls so I can have alone time(Thank You). When Saige is in school Savannah and I go grocery shopping and run errands. All in All it has been a great learning and growing experience for our family and especially for me. Only 2 years and 3 months left! I am grateful for the opportunity to move out of state away from our families and friends, so we could become a stronger family even though I miss everyone in AZ.

Cold weather!

HELP! It is 62 degrees outside. It is cold, but nice the windows are open and I am wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. This is a normal high in January in Phoenix. I am going to freeze this winter.

Fun Times!

One of the things we love to do is sing and dance. I turn on the music everyday while I am making dinner and the girls dance. They have some pretty cool moves. Saige can sing along to all the songs on the radio it's too cute, but every time I pull out the video camera she stops singing. Her favorite song right now is Pocketfull Of Sunshine. Savannah is even singing along now.

Germantown Festival!

Our first Germantown Festival and we had a blast. They had all kids of food, treats, crafts, rides, and games. I walked through the booths for a little while and bought fudge for Jarom since he was at school and couldn't come. Then we ate some cotton candy before ridding some rides.
I chose not to bring the double stroller because of the crowds, but Saige refused to walk, so she rode on top. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy or something.

Saige liked the cars. Savannah did not want to ride...
She did however love the bounce house.
We saw the Jonkman's there and went on the rides with them. Saige and Jenna Grace were wearing the same shirt.
Saige loved the pony ride.
Then we went to the petting zoo.

Nap time!

Happy Labor Day!

For Labor Day our ward had a breakfast and I signed up to bring cinnamon rolls since I just got a pastry cloth and couldn't wait to try it out. I love it! It makes rolling out the dough so easy and great for rolling up the cinnamon rolls. I learned some new baking tricks at enrichment a few weeks ago, like cutting the dough with dental floss. Yummy!

Here is Savannah, Saige and Jenna Grace eating breakfast.
Then we played on the playground
Saige, Morgan and Savannah by the pond.
All Savannah wanted to do was swing.

Saige playing.
We were out of town on father's day so I didn't get a picture of Jarom with the girls, so here it is 3 months late.
Jarom the girls and his father's Day present (A 56'' Samsung DLP T.V.). He is so excited about HD!

Ready for church.

Savannah and the tub!

I gave the girls a bath then let them play in the tub. After a little while Savannah climbed out, so I got her ready for bed, but Saige still wanted to play, so I shut the door knowing Savannah would go back in there. When Jarom got home I asked him to check on Saige, so he did. Then I heard Saige say Savannah get out of here your getting your pj's all wet. (Jarom went to the bedroom to get Saige Ariel and left the bathroom door open). When he came back Savannah was in the tub fully dressed. When he told me I was mad because When he got home he asked where Saige was and I told him in the bath and the door is shut so Savannah won't go in there. This wasn't the first time this happened.
